Sky Rail - Possible Routes | |
Sky Rail is very versatile. It can run over roads, across railway lines or waterways without difficulty. This, combined with exceptional turning and gradient climbing abilities, makes Sky Rail the choice in locations where "conventional" public transport may not be feasible and where traffic lanes cannot be given over to ground-based light rail. Underneath Sky Rail, new footpaths and cycleways can be created providing an even greener public transport system. Stations can be integrated into existing and new buildings to provide a "to the door" service. ![]() In Hull, number of Sky Rail lines are being investigated. Routes are being considered from Priory Park in the west, serving the KC Stadium and the Infirmary. From the east, linking Holderness Road, North Sea Ferries and perhaps even The Deep. A northern line could connect Kingswood and Bransholme with the City Centre with a journey time of as low as 15 minutes. |
