About Dinostar

Dinostar Dinosaur Workshops developed as an outreach project from our dinosaur museum in Hull. The first workshops were delivered in schools in the Hull area in 2005; since then over 800 schools and over 40,000 children have enjoyed them.

Our workshop presenter, Steve Plater, has over 20 years of working with children as a Cub Scout Leader - he was awarded the Chief Scout's Commendation for Good Service in 2004. Steve has an enhanced DBS disclosure.

Dinostar is a limited company with public and employer liability insurance covering events both at the Dinostar museum and at other locations.
